Verizon is officially awesome
First there was FIOS, and now there’s enhanced P2P! It looks like Verizon is making up for the revolution it missed out on when it rejected Apple’s iPhone proposal.

On June 10, in a well-meaning attempt to get educate me and whet my pallet for esoteric non-mainstream music, my roommate, Zeke, dragged me to the SOHO Apple Store where we waited in line for 30 minutes in a heatwave before listening to a guy mutter repressed screams into a microphone.
However, the event wasn’t a complete waste of time. I did spot a cute girl wearing a teal shirt (who wasn’t an Apple employee) on the other side of the stairwell. I’ll probably never see her again. Oh well.
I think computer science would be perpendicular to this above purity axis and intersect mathematics.
Actually, it could be both, if you made it a circle instead of a line.
Probably not. 3G data plan is $10 more per month at $30. Also, you’re forced into the 2 year contract with AT&T at the store. No more iTunes activation.

The Clowd, a phrase that seems to be a mashup by Seth Godin between “crowd” and “cloud,” represents the near-future widespread use of distributed data processing and natural media correlation techniques.
One of the natural media correlation techniques that I think has influenced Seth is Photo Tourism, otherwise known as Microsoft Photosynth, a project I was fortunate enough to be a part of.
I initially read the title as “The Clown”.
I would put CS either to the right of mathematics or to the left of sociology. I can’t decide which.
