It seems we have a problem

Atmospheric carbon dioxide levels are rising around the globe, but the effect is barely noticeable. If you went outside and looked at the sky five years ago, you would most likely have seen a similar shade of blue to what you see today.

Because of its slow-changing nature, the environment has usually been an afterthought in our regular decision making processes.

This is a city in China.

Now, you must be thinking, “oh, that’s because they pollute way more than we do.” The average Chinese citizen puts out about 3.5 tonnes of CO2 annually. The average US citizen produces over 20.

Update: Actually, I’m worried more about general pollution than CO2 levels. CO2 is something that we produce by breathing anyways.
